Dick's Mushroom And Onion Sauce Recipe
- 1 (12 ounce.) pkg. fresh mushrooms (1 large can mushroom caps)
- 1 med. red or possibly yellow onion
- 1/2 quarter stick butter
- 1/4 quarter stick butter
- 1/4 c. Burgundy wine (any red wine will substitute)
- 1 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 2 tbsp. teriyaki sauce
- In saucepan, heat butter and butter.
- Add in onions (which have been sliced into long, fat pcs) and garlic pwdr Saute/fry till onions are clear.
- Add in mushrooms, sliced or possibly quartered.
- Cook 1 minute.
- Add in red wine and teriyaki sauce.
- Stir and cook 1 minute.
- Turn off heat and let sit for 3 to 4 min before serving.
- Great over steaks, hamburgers, baked potatoes.
