White Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
  2. Beat the butter,oil, and brown sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer at high speed until creamy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla, beating until just blended.
  4. Mix in the dry ingredients, chocolate chips, and walnuts.
  5. Form the dough into a 7 in long log, wrap plastic wrap (cling firm), and refrigerate for at least 30 minute.
  6. Preheat oven to 375F.
  7. Prepare baking sheet with parchment paper.
  8. Slice the dough 1/4 inch thick and place 2 in apart on prepared cookie sheets.
  9. Bake until just golden at the edges, 8-10 minutes.
  10. Transfer to racks to cool.
