Lemon-Simmered Chicken Tenders
- 5 Chicken tenders
- 1 Katakuriko
- 2 tbsp "A" Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp "A" Sugar
- 1 tbsp "A" Mirin
- 1 tsp "A" Lemon juice
- 2 tbsp "A" Water
- 1 Vegetable oil
- Coat the chicken tenders with katakuriko.
- Dust off the excess.
- Add a generous amount of oil to a frying pan and fry.
- Be sure to brown both sides.
- Once cooked, remove from the pan.
- Add the "A" ingredients to the same frying pan and bring to a gentle boil.
- Return the chicken tenders and heat while basting with the sauce.
- Transfer to a serving plate and it's complete.
- I recommend cutting them into bite-sized pieces.
- These work great in a bento lunch box!
