Cheesy potato casserole

• 2 lb frozen shredded hashbrowns
• 1 onion, chopped
• 1 stick butter
• 2 tsp salt
• 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
• 24 oz sour cream
• 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1. preheat oven to 325
2. place 3 tablespoon in casserole dish and place in oven while preheating to melt butter
3. saute onion in 2 tablespoons butter until tender
4. place hashbrowns in a large mixing bowl and add onion mixture and salt, mixing well.
5. add sour cream and cheese to potato mixture and mix well again.
6. place mixture into a 13x9 casserole dish.
7. bake for 55-60 minutes or until golden on top
