Cheesy potato casserole
- 2 lb frozen shredded hashbrowns
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 stick butter
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 24 oz sour cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- preheat oven to 325
- place 3 tablespoon in casserole dish and place in oven while preheating to melt butter
- saute onion in 2 tablespoons butter until tender
- place hashbrowns in a large mixing bowl and add onion mixture and salt, mixing well.
- add sour cream and cheese to potato mixture and mix well again.
- place mixture into a 13x9 casserole dish.
- bake for 55-60 minutes or until golden on top
