Layered Hamburger Bake
- 4 oz. medium noodles, cooked and drained
- 1 lb. ground round
- 2 c. tomato sauce (15 oz. can)
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 3 Tbsp. milk
- 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
- 10 oz. pkg. frozen chopped spinach, cooked and drained
- 1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
- Brown meat in skillet; drain off fat.
- Add tomato sauce, sugar, salt, garlic salt, pepper and cooked noodles.
- Set aside. Stir together cream cheese, sour cream, milk and onion.
- In 2-quart casserole, layer 1/2 of the ground beef mixture, 1/2 of the cream cheese mixture and all of the spinach.
- Top with remaining ground beef mixture.
- Cover and bake 40 minutes or until bubbly in 350u0b0 oven.
- Uncover and spread remaining cream cheese mixture on top.
- Sprinkle with grated cheese.
- Bake additional 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
