Cold Sesame Noodles *

  1. In blender, blend first ten ingredients, reserving 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil.
  2. In kettle of boiling, salted water, cook noodles until al dente; drain and rinse in cold water.
  3. Drain again well and toss in bowl with remaining sesame oil.
  4. Mound noodles on platter; drizzle with sesame mixture and sprinkle with scallions.
  5. Adjust seasonings to taste.
  6. Serves four as main course.
