Sweet Potato Casserole Sans Nuts

  1. Bake sweet potatoes for 1 hour or until soft at 450.
  2. Mash with some brown sugar and butter.
  3. Place half in greased 1 1/2 quart casserole.
  4. Tear marshmallows and layer on top.
  5. Top with remaining sweet potatoes.
  6. Top with cornflakes.
  7. In a saucepan bring remaining ingredients to boil and pour over cornflakes.
  8. Bake, uncovered at 350 for 15 minutes.
