Brie And Tomato Sauce Tossed With Linguine Recipe

  1. Combine tomatoes, brie, basil, garlic, 1 c. extra virgin olive oil, 1/2 tsp.
  2. salt and the pepper in a large serving bowl.
  3. Prepare at least 2 hrs before serving and set aside, covered, at room temperature.
  4. Bring 6 qts water to a boil in a large pot.
  5. Add in 1 Tbsp.
  6. extra virgin olive oil and remaining salt.
  7. Add in the linguine and boil till tender but still hard, 8 to 10 min.
  8. Drain pasta and immediately toss with the tomato sauce.
  9. Serve at once, passing the peppermill, and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
