Sticky Buns
- 1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
- 3/4 stick butter
- 1/2 pkg. butterscotch pudding mix (not instant)
- 1/4 c. chopped pecans
- 2 to 4 Tbsp. raisins
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- Grease an angel food cake pan with shortening.
- Put nuts and raisins in bottom of pan.
- Cut dough lengthwise in half.
- Cut each half into 6 pieces.
- Arrange in pan, then sprinkle with butterscotch pudding and cinnamon.
- In saucepan, mix the melted butter, sugar and brown sugar.
- Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and pour over dough.
- Cover pan with a cloth and let rise overnight (about 8 hours).
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let set 2 to 3 minutes.
- Invert pan on plate and serve. Preparation time:
- 20 minutes.
