Chocolate Nut Fudge
- 1 c. plus 1 Tbsp. butter
- 4 c. white sugar
- 1 c. milk
- 32 marshmallows (large)
- 2 c. milk chocolate chips
- 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate (1 oz.)
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 to 1 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped (optional)
- Butter a 9 x 13-inch pan with 1 tablespoon butter. In a large heavy saucepan, combine sugar, milk and remaining butter. Over medium heat, bring to a full rolling boil. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in marshmallows until melted. Add all the chips and unsweetened chocolate. Stir until melted. Add vanilla and nuts. Spread in a prepared pan. Cool for 1 hour at room temperature. Cut into squares and store in an airtight container (with a lock and key) in the refrigerator. This sounds awesome.
