Oreo Cherry Truffles

• 150 g Oreo cookies, finely crushed
• 13 cup sweetened condensed milk
• 13 cup pecan nuts, chopped
• 50 g glace cherries, chopped
• 1 teaspoon rum (optional) or 1 teaspoon rum extract (optional)
• cocoa powder, for rolling

1. COMBINE the OREO crumbs, condensed milk, pecan nuts, cherries and rum in a bowl until well mixed.
2. ROLL heaped teaspoons of mixture into balls.
3. Roll in cocoa and chill until firm.
