Microwave Jalapeno Cheese Ball
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/4 c. chopped green onions
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated (2 c.)
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. chopped jalapeno peppers
- In microwavable small bowl, microwave butter on High until melted.
- Stir in onions; cook 30 seconds, or until wilted. Remove.
- In large bowl, microwave cream cheese on Medium for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes, or until soft.
- Remove from oven.
- With electric mixer at high speed, beat cream cheese and Cheddar cheese until smooth.
- On low speed, beat in green onions, jalapeno peppers to taste and Worcestershire sauce.
- Transfer to a piece of plastic wrap; shape into a ball.
- Wrap and refrigerate until firm.
- Roll in crushed chips.
- Serve with tortilla chips or crackers.
