Crescent Fruit Treats

  1. Heat oven to 375F
  2. If using crescent rolls: Remove dough from can in 2 rolled sections; do not unroll.
  3. Cut each section into 8 slices.
  4. If using dough sheets: Remove dough from can; do not unroll.
  5. Cut into 16 slices.
  6. Place slices, cut side down, on ungreased cookie sheet to form tree.
  7. To form tree, start by placing 1 slice for top; arrange 2 slices just below, with sides touching.
  8. Continue arranging a row of 3 slices, then a row of 4 slices, and ending with a row of 5 slices.
  9. Use remaining slice for tree trunk.
  10. Bake 11 to 13 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet.
  12. Carefully loosen with spatula; slide onto cooling rack.
  13. Cool 10 minutes.
  14. Place tree on serving platter or tray.
  15. In small bowl, mix cream cheese and powdered sugar; blend well.
  16. Spread mixture over tree.
  17. Decorate tree with fruit as desired.
