Fasooliya
- 200 grams Dried green beens
- 2 medium onion
- 250 grams Mutton
- 3 clove Cardamom
- 5 each Black pepper
- 2 tbsp Tomatoe paste
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 each Sun dried lemons
- Soak the dried green beens in water over night
- Wash the meat thoroughly and put it in the pressure cooker.
- Slice 1 onions in thin cut slices and add to the cooker along with the cardamom and black pepper and the sun dried lemons.
- Add water enough to be over the mutton.
- Add salt as per taste.
- Close the cooker and let it cook till 5 whistles on high flame and 5 minutes on low flame.
- Now in another pressure cooker take the beens which have been soaked over night.
- Add water and salt as per taste.
- Let this cook for 3 whistles on high flames and then for 5 minutes on low flame.
- Chop the remaining onion in small cubes and fry in a pan till it becomes transparent.
- Add tomatoes paste and stir well for 10 minutes add little water if necessary.
- Add the paste to the beens and stir gently.
- Cook it on low flame for 5 minutes.
- The non vegetarian people can add the boiled mutton to the beens.
- And the vegetarian people can eat without the mutton.
