Bashed Neeps Recipe
- 680 gm swede or possibly turnip peeled
- 30 gm butter or possibly margarine
- 3 Tbsp. double cream
- 1 x salt pepper and nutmeg
- Dice the swede or possibly turnip.
- Boil for 20 to 30 min till tender.
- Drain well turn on to a large chopping board and chop finely.
- Return to the pan and stir in the butter cream and seasonings.
- Beat till creamy then pile the piping warm mix into a warmed dish and serve immediately.
- Serves 4
