Black Eyed Peas
- 1 pound Dried Black Eyed Peas, Rinsed And Sorted
- 1 whole Medium Onion, Diced
- 1/2 cups Diced Ham
- 1- 1/2 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
- 1 teaspoon Seasoned Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- Presoak the peas as directed on the package.
- Drain the water from the peas and place the peas in a crock pot.
- Add all the other ingredients with just enough water to cover the peas.
- Stir well to mix.
- Cover and cook on LOW setting for 8-10 hours.
- I hope this becomes a favorite at your house.
- Serve it with grilled chicken or your favorite meat, or better yet, make it the whole meal with a side of greens and cornbread.
