Boston Cream Cheese Pie
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 c. sour cream
- 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate (2 oz.)
- 3 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 c. confectioners sugar
- 2 Tbsp. hot water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Make cake mix as directed.
- Put in greased 9-inch spring-form pan.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 20 minutes.
- Combine the cream cheese, vanilla and sugar.
- Add eggs, one at a time.
- Blend in sour cream. Pour evenly over top of cake.
- Return to oven at 350u0b0 for another 35 minutes.
- Loosen from side; cool.
- Melt chocolate squares and butter.
- Add in remaining
- ingredients.
- Take cake out of pan; frost with chocolate mixture.
