Melda Holt's Carrot and Apple Bake

  1. Peel the carrots and boil in salted water until tender.
  2. Slice the carrots into 1/2 inch thick slices.
  3. Spray a 1 1/2 quart baking dish with a vegetable oil spray, then combine the carrots and apples in the dish.
  4. Sprinkle evenly with the white and brown sugars and with the apple pie spice.
  5. Dot with the butter.
  6. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
