Personal Apple Pie
- 2 sheets Ready-to-bake Puff Pastry
- 3 Granny Smith apples, cubed
- 1 Tbsp corn flour
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 tsp butter
- 3 tsp milk
- Preheat the oven to 200C/400F.
- Melt butter, add apples cubed, cinnamon powder.
- Mix well.
- Add in brown sugar, mix until well corporated.
- Mix corn flour with milk, pour in the corn flour mix to the apples.
- Mix well.
- Put aside.
- Cut the pastry sheets to the preferred sizes.
- Take two sheets of puff pastry.
- Put one tablespoon apple mix on top the first sheets.
- Put the second sheet over the apple mix.
- Use a sharp knife to cut slits in the top of the crust for steam vents.
- Press all four sides with your finger or using fork, use egg wash if necessary.
- Use a pastry brush to brush the egg wash over the top.
- Place on baking sheet and bake the pies about 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
