Chicken with Spiced Yogurt Marinade

  1. In a bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, onion, coriander, cumin, salt, pepper, saffron and cinnamon.
  2. Stir well to blend.
  3. Place the chicken pieces in a large glass or ceramic dish and pour the marinade on top.
  4. Let marinate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  5. Light a grill.
  6. Cook the chicken pieces over a medium-hot fire, turning often, until lightly charred on both sides and just cooked through, about 10 minutes per side.
