Grandma'S Fruit Cake

  1. Sift the flour once; measure.
  2. Add baking powder and spices; sift 3 more times.
  3. Cream the shortening; add sugar and cream until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs, fruits, nuts, honey, molasses and cider.
  5. Add flour gradually.
  6. Put in 5 well-greased loaf pans. Bake at 250u0b0 for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
