Cream Cheese Sauce
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 12 onion, minced
- 4 mixed mushrooms, chopped
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons basil
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 3 teaspoons butter
- 34 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons hot chili sauce (cock sauce)
- Saute onion and mushrooms in oil over medium low heat until onions are soft and mushrooms have released some liquid.
- Add garlic, salt, pepper and basil and saute for another few minutes.
- Melt together cream cheese and butter in a saucepan over low heat until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in milk and cock sauce.
- Simmer over low heat, stirring constantly for 3 minutes.
- Serve over pasta.
