Hors D'Oeuvre Cheesecake
- 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning
- 3 eggs
- 2 c. sour cream
- 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
- 1/2 c. diced sweet red pepper
- 1/2 c. salsa
- Combine cheeses and taco seasoning; beat well.
- Add the eggs; stir in half of the sour cream.
- Fold in the chilies and red pepper.
- Pour into a greased 10-inch spring-form pan and bake at 350u0b0 for 35 minutes, or until set.
- Combine the remainder of the sour cream and salsa; spread over the cheesecake.
- Bake for an additional 5 minutes.
- Cool on a wire rack.
- Cover and chill for at least 8 hours.
- Garnish with chopped fresh tomatoes, sliced olives, shredded cheese or sour cream.
- Serves 12 to 18.
