Sausage Baked Beans

  1. Crumble sausage, chop bacon, and fry.
  2. Reserve the drippings and cook onions until tender.
  3. Pour off excess fat.
  4. Combine meat, onions and remaining ingredients in a 2 quart casserole.
  5. Bake covered at 375F for 40 minutes,uncovered for 20 minutes.
  6. You can use a crockpot and simmer on low forever.
  7. About 2 hours before serving, remove the lid and allow it to continue to simmer.
