Perfect Pork Spareribs Recipe

  1. Trim large chunks of fat from ribs.
  2. Leave thin layers for flavor.
  3. Sprinkle top side of ribs generously with Cajun style spices.
  4. Rub in well.
  5. Put 3/4 inch of water in the bottom of a heavy roasting pan.
  6. With foil resting on water, tightly seal the water in the bottom of the pan creating a water bed.
  7. Place the ribs on the foil.
  8. Don't puncture foil.
  9. Cover the ribs tightly with another sheet of foil.
  10. Let spices marinade 2 hrs at room temperature.
  11. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  12. Bake ribs for 1 1/2 hrs.
  13. Remove from oven.
  14. Drain liquid from both layers of foil.
  15. Brush ribs with your favorite sauce.
  16. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 min.
  17. NOTE: Reduce time to 45 min for baby ribs.
