Perfect Pork Spareribs Recipe
- 1 plank pork spareribs
- Cajun style spices
- Heavy duty aluminum foil
- Water
- Trim large chunks of fat from ribs.
- Leave thin layers for flavor.
- Sprinkle top side of ribs generously with Cajun style spices.
- Rub in well.
- Put 3/4 inch of water in the bottom of a heavy roasting pan.
- With foil resting on water, tightly seal the water in the bottom of the pan creating a water bed.
- Place the ribs on the foil.
- Don't puncture foil.
- Cover the ribs tightly with another sheet of foil.
- Let spices marinade 2 hrs at room temperature.
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Bake ribs for 1 1/2 hrs.
- Remove from oven.
- Drain liquid from both layers of foil.
- Brush ribs with your favorite sauce.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 15 min.
- NOTE: Reduce time to 45 min for baby ribs.
