Turkey Sausage Ragu Recipe
- 1 28oz can of Trader Joe's Marinara Sauce
- 2 Turkey Sausages (Mild); about 1 lb
- 2 celery sticks, diced
- 1 medium sweet onion, diced
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp italian parsley
- 1-2 tbsp olive oil
- Heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add diced celery and onions and sweat for about 1 minute.
- Add the sausage.
- Be sure to remove the casing and pull apart with your fingers.
- Should be in small chuncks.
- Brown but don't over cook.
- About 3-5 minutes.
- Add the sugar.
- Add full can of Trader Joe's Marinara Sauce and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Chop Italian parsley and add to top.
- Serve over your favorite pasta.
