Macaroni And Cheese Italian Style

  1. Heat oil in large skillet.
  2. Saute onion and garlic until light brown.
  3. Stir in tomatoes, sugar, salt, pepper and basil.
  4. Simmer 10 minutes.
  5. Make a paste of water and flour.
  6. Add to tomato mixture, stirring until smooth and thickened.
  7. Remove from heat. Add grated cheese and stir until melted.
  8. Combine cooked macaroni and place in greased casserole.
  9. Bake, uncovered, at 350u0b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
