Crusty Cheese Rings

  1. Combine flour and butter in mixing bowl.
  2. Cut butter into flour until mixture is slightly smaller than peas.
  3. Mix in cream and vinegar with fork.
  4. Stir in cheese evenly.
  5. Form dough into ball.
  6. Roll out on lightly floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut into rings using a doughnut cutter.
  7. Repeat using all dough. Place rings and holes on ungreased baking sheet about 1 inch apart.
  8. Chill 30 minutes.
  9. Brush tops with egg white.
  10. Sprinkle additional cheese.
  11. Bake at 450u0b0 for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
  12. Serve hot.
