Naan Pizza

  1. What is Naan?
  2. Naan is an Indian flatbread.
  3. It can be purchased in any grocery store or health food store where bread is sold.
  4. It also comes in various shapes.
  5. Roast the cherry tomatoes by placing them cut side down on a pan on the stove over medium-high heat.
  6. Cook for a few minutes.
  7. Flip them over and cook for another few minutes.
  8. Now place the cover of a pot over the cherry tomatoes in the pan.
  9. Reduce heat to low and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.
  10. What you're doing is steaming and finishing cooking the tomatoes.
  11. Alternately, you can put them in the microwave for 30 seconds.
  12. You won't get the roasted flavor, but it's good in a pinch.
  13. Assemble: Sprinkle mozzarella on top of naan.
  14. Bubble side up.
  15. Top with cherry tomatoes and basil.
  16. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning
  17. Place on dry pan over medium-high heat.
  18. Cook for 2 minutes then cover with a pot cover to melt cheese.
  19. Enjoy!
