Cabbage Rolls

  1. Remove cores of cabbage.
  2. In a large pot, steam cabbage and remove each leaf as it loosens.
  3. Save hearts of cabbage and chop. Put ground meat in a large bowl.
  4. Add onion tops and parsley.
  5. Mix well; salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Add tomato sauce and Ro-Tel tomatoes; mix well.
  7. Add chopped cabbage hearts to meat mixture. Add cooled, cooked rice to meat and cabbage mixture; mix well.
  8. Put one spoon of dressing in each cabbage leaf and roll up.
  9. Place in roaster by layers; salt and pepper each layer.
  10. Put two fingers of water in roaster.
  11. Cook, covered, at 325u0b0 for about 1 1/2 hours.
