Dee'S Vegetable Soup
- 4 lb. hamburger meat
- 2 large cans crushed tomatoes
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 cans Campbell's tomato soup
- 5 large carrots, chopped
- 3 c. onions, chopped
- 5 c. cabbage, chopped
- 1 lb. frozen Shoe Peg corn
- 1 lb. frozen baby limas
- 2 c. macaroni
- 3 c. Irish potatoes, chopped
- 2 c. celery, chopped
- 2 tsp. pepper
- 3 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- 3 1/2 qt. water
- In 3 gallon pot, put bite size pieces of hamburger meat in water as it is coming to a boil.
- Then add chopped vegetables, frozen vegetables and rest of ingredients.
- Cook slowly for 1 1/2 hours.
- Let it sit overnight in refrigerator and then can be frozen in small containers.
