Mashed Rutabagas
- 1 large rutabaga
- water, to cover
- 14 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon pepper (optional)
- Peel rutabagas and slice thinly.
- Put in medium saucepan and cover with water.
- Boil until tender, 30-45 minutes.
- Mash then add heavy cream, margarine, salt and pepper
- Eat and enjoy.
