Apple Dumplings

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Peel & core apple.
  3. Slice into 8 pieces.
  4. Spray 8x8 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  5. Tear crescent rolls into 8 pieces & roll each apple slice into crescent rolls.
  6. Add to pan in a single layer.
  7. Melt butter & pour over each dumpling.
  8. Mix both sugars & cinnamon together and sprinkle over each dumpling.
  9. Pour soda around the sides.
  10. Do not pour on top of dumplings.
  11. Make sure it covers dumplings half way.
  12. Bake for 20-25 minutes until tops are golden.
  13. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
  14. (Optional)
