Pierre Franeys Barbecue Sauce

• 3 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 cup ketchup
• 2 tablespoons lemon juice
• 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
• 2 tablespoons honey
• 2 teaspoons grated ginger
• 2 teaspoons soy sauce
• 3 thin, seeded lemon slices
• 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1. Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan.
2. Blend well, bring to a boil and remove from heat.
