Drunken Mushrooms
- 4 cubes Beef Bouillon
- 4 cubes Chicken Bouillon
- 2 cups Boiling Water
- 1 pound Butter
- 1- 1/2 Tablespoon Dill Weed
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 1- 1/2 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 16 ounces, fluid Bottles Red Cooking Wine (2)
- 4 pounds Mushrooms
- In a large kettle, mix bouillon cubes and boiling water.
- Add butter and all seasoning and liquids.
- When butter has melted, add mushrooms.
- Simmer for at least six hours, stirring periodically.
- Another option is to cook this in a crockpot on HIGH for six hours (may be a wise idea to cook outside or in the garage as this smell will stay in the house for a long time!)
