Southern Style Kale

  1. On medium heat, cook diced/sliced bacon til desired doneness, do *not* discard drippings.
  2. Add shallots and red pepper and saute til soft.
  3. Turn heat down a bit, add kale.
  4. After the drippings are soaked up, add a splash of chicken broth.
  5. (In total, I slowly added a full 1/4 cup.)
  6. Season w s&p and crushed red pepper to taste.
  7. Serve!
