Ravioli with Creamy Poppyseed Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- 1- 1/2 cup Heavy Cream Or Half-and-Half
- 1/2 teaspoons Freshly Ground Black Pepper, To Taste
- 3 Tablespoons Poppyseeds
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt To Taste
- 13 cups Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Cook your ravioli according to package instructions in a large pot.
- When cooked drain it and set aside.
- Melt the butter over medium heat in a large saucepan.
- Whisk in the cream and stir over medium heat until hot but not bubbly.
- Add the cooked ravioli and season with freshly ground black pepper.
- Simmer gently until the sauce has thickened.
- Stir in the poppyseeds and add salt to taste if desired.
- Serve with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
