Italian Sausage Skillet Bake

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Brown sausage with vegetables in large ovenproof skillet on medium-high heat; drain.
  3. Add tomato sauce and beans; stir.
  4. Simmer on medium-low heat 5 min.
  5. Meanwhile, whisk egg and milk until blended.
  6. Combine baking mix and cheese in medium bowl.
  7. Add egg mixture; stir just until blended.
  8. Drop large spoonfuls of dough over sausage mixture, using about 1/2 cup dough for each mound.
  9. Bake 18 to 20 min.
  10. or until biscuit topping is done and golden brown.
