Pumpkin ~ Japanese style
- 1/4 each Pumpkin
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 1/2 tsp soysauce
- Cut pumpkin into 1inch piece & trim small amount of peel off.
- Place pumpkin in sauce pan
- Mix water, sugar & mirin & pour over pumpkin
- Simmer covered til pumpkin is soft 8-10 minutes
- Drop small pieces of butter oner the pumpkin and drizzle soysauce over pumpkin
- Cool & serve as a small side~
