vegetable rice cake
- 1/2 cup tomato paste
- 1/2 tsp coriander powfer
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup green beans
- 1/4 cup cubed potato
- 1/4 cup green peas
- 1/4 cup chopped carrot
- 5 cup idli flour
- boil all the vegetables
- in pan pour oil add all the vegetables and saute for a minute
- add turmeric powder stir well and pour the tomato paste add all the remaining spice powders and let it simmer till they form a thick water less state
- in idli moulds pour the idli batter and spoon the finished topping on the idli mould and steam in high for five minutes and simmer for ten minutes
- tastes awesome with groundnut or coconut chutney or both
