Tuna-Taco Dish(A Great Way For Seafood)
- 2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans solid white tuna, drained and flaked
- 1/2 c. (2 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. sliced pimiento stuffed olives
- 3 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
- 1/2 c. commercial sour cream (I prefer Borden)
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 3/4 tsp. chili powder
- lettuce leaves
- 1 large avocado, peeled and sliced
- 2 medium tomatoes, cut into wedges
- paprika
- tortilla chips
- Combine tuna, cheese, olives and onion in a medium bowl. Combine sour cream, garlic powder and chili powder in a small bowl.
- Add sour cream mixture to tuna mixture and toss.
- Place lettuce leaves on individual salad plates.
- Spoon tuna mixture on lettuce; arrange avocado and tomato wedges around tuna.
- Sprinkle with
- paprika.
- Serve salad with tortilla chips.
- Yields 4 servings.
