Just Heavenly Chocolate Cake
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- 1 (15 oz.) can cream of coconut
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen coconut, thawed
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 2 c. chocolate milk
- 1 (3 oz.) box chocolate fudge pudding and pie filling
- 1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
- Finely chopped toasted pecans, optional
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Lightly grease bottom of 9x13x2 inch baking pan.
- Make cake according to directions on box of cake mix.
- Combine cream of coconut and thawed coconut.
- Mix well.
- As soon as cake comes from oven, make holes in cake using fork.
- Pour coconut mixture over top.
- Beat cream cheese until softened and smooth.
- Combine chocolate milk and chocolate pudding mix. Whisk until smooth. Add to cream cheese and beat until well blended. Spoon this mixture over top of coconut.
- Top with Cool Whip.
- If desired, sprinkle toasted pecans over top.
- Keep refrigerated.
