Real cafe con leche
- 2 tbsp ground coffee (I prefer pilon or cafe bustello)
- 2 cup water
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 sugar to your taste
- in a small sauce pan bring water to a boil and add coffee
- leave coffee boiling for about a minute or two and strain in an old fashioned coffee strainer.
- (It looks like a handle with a piece of cloth hanging from it)
- in another sauce pan, heat milk and sugar (if you like your coffee a little darker don't use the whole can)
- once you see steam add the coffee and stir until evenly blended
