Canella Merlot

• 1 orange, rind of
• 1 lemon, rind of
• 10 whole cloves
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon (I used a 3-inch stick of cinnamon)
• 1 (750 ml) bottle merlot
• 10 tablespoons sugar

1. Heat merlot in a large saucepan.
2. Dissolve sugar in the warm merlot.
3. Add peels and spices to merlot.
4. (You can put them in a strainer, but I just dumped everything into the wine.
5. ).
6. Serve warm or cool.
