  2. Transfer to a large bowl.
  3. Combine mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt, dill seed, and pepper in a medium bowl.
  4. Whisk until smooth.
  5. Pour dressing over cabbage mixture and toss to coat.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to 3 days.
  7. Stir briefly before serving.
