Lasagna Casserole
- 4 (16 oz.) pkg. thin egg noodles
- 8 lb. ground beef
- 8 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 8 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. garlic salt
- 2 tsp. pepper
- 8 c. cottage cheese
- 8 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 4 c. sour cream
- 4 bunches green onions
- 3 c. chopped green pepper
- 2 c. Parmesan cheese
- Cook noodles in salted water. Drain!
- Cook beef until brown. Stir in tomato sauce, sugar, salt, garlic salt and pepper. Remove from heat. Combine the cottage cheese, sour cream, cream cheese, green onions (chopped) and green pepper.
- Spread half the noodles in two (2-inch deep) sheet pans. Moisten with some of the meat sauce. Cover with cheese mixture. Top with remaining noodles, then meat sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 1 hour. Serves 100.
