Best Southern Pecan Pie Recipe
- 3 med Large eggs
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp all-purpose flour
- 2 c. dark corn syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 pch salt
- 1 c. pecan halves plus
- 1/4 c. minced pecans
- 1 x unbaked pie crust (9")
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Put Large eggs, sugar, flour, corn syrup, vanilla and salt in a bowl and mix well with an electric mixer for 5 min.
- Stir in pecan halves.
- Pour into pie crust and sprinkle with minced pecans.
- Bake for 45 min, or possibly till filling is set.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream.
