Amy Oh's Very Best Cookies Recipe
- 1 1/2 c. All-purpose flour
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 c. Unsalted butter softened
- 3/4 c. Firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 c. Granulated sugar
- 1 lrg Egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 3 c. Old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 c. Golden brown raisins
- 1 c. Semisweet chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350 deg.
- F.In a bowl whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl with an electric mixer beat together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar till light and fluffy and beat in egg and vanilla till combined well.
- Gradually beat in flour mix and oats till combined well.
- Stir in raisins and chocolate chips.
- Drop dough by rounded Tbsp.
- about 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets and bake in middle of oven till golden brown, about 11 min.
- With a spatula transfer cookies to racks to cold.
- Makes about 36 cookies.JM.
