1930 Recipe for Mincemeat Cake
- 1 cup sugar
- 12 cup oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 12 cup dark corn syrup
- 1 cup pecans (Chopped)
- 9 ounces mincemeat
- Cream sugar, eggs, and oil.
- Add milk alternately with flour which has been mixed with soda and salt.
- Add syrup, pecans and mincemeat.
- Bake in bundt pan at 350 degrees for about an 1 hour or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
