Blood Orange Glaze for Cheesecake

  1. Place the orange juice, agave nectar, and 1/2 c of the apple juice in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Dissolve the arrowroot in the remaining 1/2 c of the apple juice.
  3. Set aside.
  4. When the fruit juice mixture just begins to boil, add the arrowroot and apple juice mixture, stirring constantly, until thickened and smooth, about 10-15 minutes.
  5. Chill the sauce in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
  6. Top the cheesecake with the glaze and serve.
